Companionship Care involves a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) visiting you or your loved one at home to regularly provide company and assist with activities of daily living or ADLs as needed. Oftentimes, an individual is capable of living independently, but requires assistance with non-medical services such as ADLs. The CNA or HHA can also be a close friend and emotional support system for you or your loved one.

ADLs involved in companionship care include:

  • Bathing
  • Grooming
  • Dressing
  • Meal prep
  • Mobility
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Medication Reminders
  • Transportation
  • Managing Appointments
  • Travel Companions

Our CNAs and HHAs can also be a friend for individuals, engaging in activities such as watching movies, playing cards, writing letters, reading books, etc. A companion is especially supportive for individuals who live alone or whose family members live out of town.

Companionship care services can be provided by the hour, by the shift, or around the clock. All Cherry Hill Homecare employees are licensed and insured and have passed local, state and federal background checks.
